Thokozani Nzima, affectionately known in the creative industry as Zano, was born in a mining township called eMbalenhle in the Mpumalanga province. He has been a prominent feature in the SA and touring musicaltheatre scene and in the SA music industry where he is one of the pioneers of the phenomenon that was later to be termed SA Vocal House Music.
