We consider Enoch's prophecy of the coming of the Lord in judgement, as cited by Jude in verses 14-15. We first address questions about Jude's source for this prophecy. Is he citing the apocryphal "Book of Enoch"? Then, looking at the prophecy itself, we find it teaches us about the certainty of the coming judgement. The judgement is certain to happen and certain to happen to you. Only those whose ungodliness is forgiven and who are counted righteous by faith in Christ will be spared on that day.
