I discuss The Challenge of Friendships as a Highly Sensitive Person and my experience as an INFJ empath.
Because empaths are thought to have hyper-responsive mirror neurons, we deeply resonate with other peoples feelings.
Empaths are created from a combination of genetics (temperament), environmental factors (parenting) and early childhood trauma.
It can be easy to be misunderstood by others or beat up on yourself when we do not acknowledge these energetic differences.
The goal is for empaths to be empowered and use their sensitivities to be loving to themselves, their intimates, and create love in the world.
