Chata is the Public Affairs Director at the City of Atlanta Police Department. With a background in broadcast journalism at ABC, CNN, amongst others, she manages communications and crises related to policing in Atlanta.
In her role, Chata regularly comes across dis and misinformation in the very fast-paced and high-stakes environment of law enforcement.
She also finds time to lecture in media studies at Fort Valley State University and is the founder of Spiked Communications.

It not only meets Georgia accreditation requirements, but it’s one of the 700 agencies out of 18,000 across the country that’s received a CALEA accreditation. The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) recognizes the best of the best.
