John 8:13-20. 1. Jesus testimony about Himself & The Father agrees with His testimony. Jesus is The Light. John 8:12. 2. Flesh Judgments. Man religious leaders, religious people, & unreligious people judge according to flesh (actions, deeds, & words) and are always looking to self benefit. Our hearts when not submitted to Christ lean towards evil. Romans 2:1-5. 3. Where Jesus came from , went, and is today. Jesus is eternal (before time & will be around after time begins). Jesus is the Word that spoke the world into existence. 1 John 1:1-5. Genesis 1:26 - made man in His image. Jesus sent from the Father (born of a virgin). Returned to the Father Alive. Sits at the right hand of the Father today. Jesus’ teachings/ethical moral teachings are secondary...Christ is the Way. Let’s not get sidetracked with secondary issues. Let us make the main the thing The Main thing (Jesus) in our lives. Have I been guilty of overreacting to challenges against me? Have I asked for forgiveness/repented or allowed the results of my guilty heart to define me to be more important than whom God created me to be?
