I CAN’T BREATHE
If you are not familiar with this phrase, you might probably want to google it. Police brutality alongside with racism and black lives matter have been part of most conversations lately.
Not that police brutality and injustice within the black community is anything new but the MURDER of GEORGE FLOYD on May 25th 2020 by police officers in Minneapolis was proven to be the last straw to break the camel’s back.
WE as a black community (and any other community that respects our struggle and fight) have had enough.
Every one wants to be black or be around black people or be part of black culture until it’s actually time to be black.
-WE CAN’T BREATHE (George Floyd)
-WE CANT JOG (Ahmaud Aubrey)
-WE CAN’T SIT IN THE COMFORT OF OUR HOMES (Breonna Taylor)
-OUR KIDS CAN’T PLAY WITH FAKE GUNS (Tamir Rice)... and many more !
We have had enough, it’s time for a change. We shall no longer comply, shut up and watch our people die.
