On Episode 3 of Busted Investigations, Rohan will give you a behind the scenes look at the murky world of organised crime and smuggling operations.
You have all seen the stories of drug dealers getting caught, bikie gangs engaging in turf wars, or overseas criminals smuggling huge quantities of illicit tobacco.
Rohan will take you on a journey beyond the headlines to delve deep into how these criminals operate, how they get away with it, and what can be done to stop it.
Back in 2007, a study by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare found 38 per cent of Australians had used illicit drugs – including misusing prescription drugs – in their lives. They also found 13.4 per cent of people had used drugs in the past twelve months.
Naturally, growing demand for drugs in Australia gives the criminal organisations behind drug manufacture and development reason to increase supply.
