The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering...

Tania's Full BioMoms for ChristHi everyone! It’s Tania, and welcome to the Moms for Christ podcast! The Word the Lord has really hit me with these past few weeks comes from: Exodus Chapter 3, verses 7 to 8, and it says: “The Lord said, ‘I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey…’” The Lord is speaking to Moses through the burning bush, revealing His plans to rescue the Israelites from slavery.
I love that this Word says that the Lord was concerned about their suffering. I want my children to know the character of God: He is loving and He is so good to His people. He is concerned with us, and He wants to be a part of our lives, leading us, and moving us closer to Him. I'm guilty of sometimes wanting to rush the process, but the real joy is in the journey!
Thank You, Lord! Who is like You? Who moves the way that You move and loves the way that You love? Thank You for every trial and thank You for every deliverance. Thank You for causing those trials in our lives to happen so that we get to know and grow in You. Amen. God bless, and have a wonderful week! I will speak to you again soon.
