Have you ever been driving and that little check engine light comes on? You can ignore it for a while. The car still runs. Maybe nothing seems wrong at first. But deep down you know something isn’t right. That light is trying to tell you there’s a problem under the surface. Now think about this. Have you ever felt that same kind of signal inside of you? That sense that something isn’t quite right. Guilt over something you’ve done. A feeling that no matter how much you achieve, something is still missing. Where does that come from? The Bible teaches that God has written His law on our hearts. That inner voice, that conscience, is like a warning light. It’s not there to annoy you. It’s there to point to a real issue. And just like ignoring your car’s warning light won’t fix the engine, ignoring that inner conviction won’t fix your soul.

But here’s the good news. God didn’t just point out the problem. He made a way to fix it. Jesus came to deal with what’s broken inside of us. Not just to cover it up, but to restore us completely. So when that light comes on… don't ignore it. Turn from your sin, put your trust in Jesus… and He will forgive you and make you new.
