“There are more drawings down here. Some of them are pictures on torn paper and tacked to the walls. Some are scrawled across the walls themselves in white chalk. They become more numerous the further in we go. They seem to be of slightly better quality than the one by the stairs, but… But they’re still not great.

And they all depict the same thing. A girl. A child. All by herself.

The colors of her clothes vary, but she always has long brown hair, and the hair is always done in the same exact style.

“Hey”, I realize after a few minutes of walking, of exploring. “She kind of looks like you, don’t you think?”

“What the ****?” Eliza retorts, “why would you say that?” She stops and her breathing gets really shallow…
