The ChinnyVision Podcast

Matt Lee is an open source Guru and runs Libre.FM. He also made a movie with a monkey in it (far fetched) that we don't mention. But back in the day he had an Amstrad CPC and had his first online experience on it. He also bought software in the utterly bonkers Trago Mills. Join us for a half hour chat.

Tim Drew, often known as Sanxion, is a collector of computers and consoles and co-host of the Pixel Gaiden podcast. He was working at a computer shop before he left school and ended up not only in charge of ordering software from wholesalers but working for a distributor and running his own computer shop.

We talk about his computer ownership history, his collection and how he ended up being head hunted by two senior employees of Centresoft who were setting up their own distribution network.

Tracey began playing video games on an Atari 2600 found in a hedge. Via that unlikely start she also owned a Master System, Megadrive and used a turtle connected to a BBC Micro at school. She tells us about her experiences of working in a games shop owned by her uncle and all about Noisebox Radio.

Today she has a video game music show on Noisebox called Ready Player One which you can listen to here - https://www.mixcloud.com/NoiseboxRadio/playlists/ready-player-one/

Malc Seventyfour comes to us live via satellite from Canada. But he isn't Canadian, he grew up in Scotland with an Atari 2600 and still has his original Spectrum 48k (well actually his brothers). How did he get hold of 2600 games? How long did he stick with the Speccy as his gaming platform of choice? Will our satellite link hold up? Find out!
