These metaphors illustrate the choice his followers face, not just to admire his teaching, but to embody it. The narrow way is difficult, but it leads to life. The wise builder hears Jesus’ words and puts them into practice, building on rock rather than sand.

This final passage is not a warning, it’s an invitation.
