This is the second episode of a series called "The Christian and the Latter Day Saint."


In this episode, Connor and I discuss salvation. How is it given? How is it appropriated to us? What is required of us, if anything? Is salvation all of works, is it all of faith, or is it a mixture? These questions, I believe, are foundational to a proper understanding of the relationship between God and man. God has offered a path of salvation, and it is important we walk that path and no other.

Connor is a friend of mine that I met through a discussion forum online. He is a very polite and knowledgeable member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-Day Saints. He has been willing to join me for a series of conversations discussing the differences between Christianity and the LDS.

This podcast is not an endorsement of LDS doctrine, but it is an endorsement of courteous discussion and debate with the intention of growing and learning. Many Christians do not understand the nuance of the LDS faith, and so they consistently misrepresent them. We must understand their claims accurately since they, too, claim to love the Bible and Jesus.
