Sadly, through the years, I’ve seen some people draw a dividing line between faith and science. But true science and following Jesus are not mutually exclusive. God created us and God created scientific minds. In fact, science points to God.

Dr. Jennifer Wiseman is an American astronomer. She was educated at MIT and Harvard, and she is absolutely brilliant. And the more she discovers about the universe, the more she believes in an awesome Creator. She leads many conversations about the relationships between astronomy and faith. Some who never believed in God now know Him personally through Jesus Christ because of Dr. Wiseman. God doesn’t just use pastors and evangelists to share the Good News. He is working through Dr. Wiseman’s scientific excellence to reach the scientific community. The Psalmist said, “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what are mere mortals that you are mindful of them?” The Heavens give us perspective. And they have given Dr. Wiseman an unusual way to reach her world.

You have a unique platform too. It may be different from mine, or Dr. Wiseman’s, but it’s just as important. God put you in your unique position so that you may do work for His kingdom. So, how are you reaching your world today?
