It certainly wasn't a straight line for him and was difficult, but he has found his calling and passion in teaching others how to become the best version of themselves in business and life.

In this episode I sit down with one of my favorite teammates, former MLB outfielder Ian Miller.  He and I played together in Tacoma in 2017 and 2018, and we spent a lot of our downtime talking about some basic financial concepts like how to build your credit score up.  The interest he took way back then eventually led him into his post playing career in wealth management services, and he also just achieved a major milestone by buying his first house!

Today I talk with a new Clubhouse member Garrett Frechette - he was the Giants 5th round draft pick in 2019 and has already navigated an interesting start to his career by having a season interrupted by the pandemic. He and I talk about his experience being drafted out of high school and what it's been like so far making his way through the minor leagues. He's also very interested in real estate and has already done a good amount in his young career, so I'm excited to see where he is in another few years!

In this episode I chat with my old teammate Dallas Tarleton about his journey from getting drafted out of college, to playing 6 years in the minor leagues, and making the transition out of the game and into the mortgage industry.  Dallas was a catcher who was used to be the captain on the field, and now uses the same mentality to run a mortgage team.  He's also getting started in the real estate investing space and has lots of tips for those who are just getting started!

In this episode I'm joined by my friend and former teammate Ryon Healy.  Ryon is a veteran of 9 professional seasons with parts of 5 years in the Major Leagues between the A's, Mariners, and Brewers.  He has followed a very similar path as I did in real estate so far, and actually has done some things better than I did.  

We talk about how some of his single family investments as well as a limited partnership (passive investor) deal he did on an Amazon warehouse where he made 60% on his money in less than a year!  

We also talk about how, as a baseball player, it is important to use your time wisely and give yourself a basic level of financial knowledge BEFORE you're done playing because no one knows when that day is going to come.

Tony and Dakota and I were in Las Vegas for the Future Flipper real estate mastermind event and decided to sit down and talk about their success in 2021 and their goals moving forward.  Tony and Dakota formed LTD Property group about 3 years ago, and now that they're both working full time in the business, they did 56 wholesales and flips in 2021!  We talk about how they scaled up their business and why their partnership works so well.  They also talk about how they were buying houses for less than $5,000 and paying for them with credit cards!
