John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The Christian life is not one that is devoid of troubles and trials. The fact that we've accepted Jesus doesn't shield us from all the bad times there is. Even as Christians, we experience both good and bad times but our comfort is in the fact that Christ-The fourth One-will never leave us alone in the fire.
