Caleb faced the same giants, fortified cities, and obstacles as everyone else, but instead of allowing fear to determine his response, he trusted in the faithfulness of God.Through Caleb’s example, we are reminded that biblical courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision to trust God in the midst of it. His story challenges us to see beyond the obstacles in front of us, embrace the opportunities God gives us, and live with an eternal purpose. Rather than simply standing at the foot of the mountain, Caleb was willing to climb it, and his example encourages us to do the same.

In this week’s program, we continue our journey through Joshua as we consider the connection between remembering God’s faithfulness and living with courage. After Israel crossed the Jordan River, God instructed them to take twelve stones from the riverbed and set them up as a memorial, a visible reminder of what He had done.Those stones were meant to tell the story of God’s faithfulness to future generations. In the same way, remembering the ways God has provided, answered prayer, guided us, and carried us through difficult moments can strengthen our faith when fear begins to take hold. As we remember what God has done, we are reminded that our lives are ultimately centered on Him, and that our experiences of His faithfulness are not only for us, but can encourage those who come after us.
