The first people that heard the proclamation of the birth of Christ were not the nobles nor the professional religious class, but the humble class of shepherds. This goes to show that in the kingdom that King Jesus has come to establish, what’s down is up and what’s up is down. The message of Christmas is a message of love and grace.
