When the author of Hebrews said “Don't forsake gathering together” they were exhorting us to be a family, not just a meeting. When we see Church as a spiritual pyramid scheme instead of a Kingdom Family, we miss God’s Plan A for the hope of the world and there are many exiles who have abandoned the Church because they were hurt by being treated like members of a institution instead of beloved siblings and children. The family of God is the delivery system of city transformation, and the Father is asking us to reclaim hope in being his Church and to repent for a lack of love for the bride or for unresolved church relationships.
