We are simply reaping what we have sown. The fact that you cannot read the Bible without coming face to face with the reality that following Christ often is accompanied with suffering, yet we rarely if ever hear sermons addressing this truth serves to drive home this point. We are living in a day where the importance of the father seems to have been diminished by society. Truthfully this distinction has been earned by the total lack of commitment and responsibility taken by many men as it relates to being a committed father. Over the years I have heard people claim that they do not believe in the rapture of the church because the term "Rapture" does not appear in Scripture.
