Based on Revelation 2:1-7, ‘The Church Christ Built’ is a reminder of what followers of Jesus Christ are called to be. It is important for believers to know that the church is Christ’s idea, but Christianity isn’t, when the disciples accepted those labels, they had issues with being church first. This is because, once an entity is named it has to have a natural structure that reflects society.

The Ephesian church was close to what we can call perfection and yet there is no such thing as perfect church, our perfection is in the Lord because of his unmerited favour towards us.
