Three elements that make the church a community

1. The church should be intentional - vv.41-42

Why do we exist?

*WIN - Evangelism and worship - Acts 1:8

*BUILD - Discipleship and education - 2 Timothy 2:1-2

*SEND - Locally and globally - Galatians 6:10

2. The church should strive for unity - vv.43-45

Colossians 3:15

*Ekklesia - called out assembly

*Koinonia - communion, communication, contribution, distribution, fellowship

Community is a common unity of purpose and interests

Romans 15:26; 1 John 1:7; 2 Corinthians 6:14; 1 Corinthians 12:25-26

3. The church should fulfill its mission - vv.46-47
