In the book of Revelation, Jesus addresses 7 churches each of which carry a challenge and encouragement which applies to us today. The church of Philadelphia, the faithful church, were the only ones who did not receive a rebuke from the Lord. Positioned as a missionary church, they lived faithfully for the cause of Christ and Jesus only encourages them to continue to step through the open doors that He has provided.
