In the book of Revelation, Jesus addresses 7 churches, each of which carry a challenge and encouragement which applies to us today. To the church of Smyrna, the persecuted church, Jesus encourages them to keep being faithful, even to the end.

We don't like to think about persecution in the Western church, but we should and we should choose now to be digging deep in our relationship with Jesus so that when storms and trials come, we will remain faithful to the end.
