Church growth is not about the throngs that come due to the organizational strengths of the “institution” or about the masses that come to hear gifted speakers and leaders in the church. Real church growth happens as a result of the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of individual people when he calls them together in order to bind them to Christ and to one another, and then to send them out to reach others that need Jesus Christ.
