In this episode we learn about the forgotten city of Oscarville. A once thriving black community that was eradicated by a white mob fueled by racism and violence. It was either refuse to leave and die or die running for your life. Decades later the land was bought out by the government and flooded to create Lake Lanier, burying the town and its history with it.
