This epislde is raw and unscripted. A messy blend of historical facts, and unique perspective. In this episode I attempt to explain how the Republican party today, reminds me of the democratic party of the Civil War era. The similarities being feeling loss of equal representation, economic and legal warfare, defamatory propaganda, thoughts of war, secession, war, readmittance, use of popular concession to create and uphold illegal laws, and finally, acceptance. The contraries being, we are not in fact involved in any abhorrent practices, nor propagating any messages that could reasonably be considered inflammatory. Still, we are labled, abused, and losing our voice. Could the republicans of today secede? Might history repeat itself; and more rights be revoked from the people under the guise of a righteous cause? Might the people who fought to preserve the constitution be remembered as nothing more than an insurrection against the evolution of a more progressive America?
