The Claes Lines

Listen Later

JB and Matt aka Brownbear are joined by singer, songwriter Jude from exciting new band The Claes.

There is discussion surrounding what it is like to start a new band in modern times with some interesting chat about how social media can be both a blessing and a curse.

Jude gives us an insight in to what the band's highlight have been so far with some great support slots already and an appearance at King Tut's in only their fourth gig.

We talk about the impact of the Oasis reunion that took place last year and whether it has been a good or bad thing for new bands.

The band have been nominated for the Best Live Act award (age 25) and under at the Scottish Live Music Awards and are ones to watch. Make sure to give them a follow @theclaes_band on Instagram to be kept up to date with their latest news.

There are some gig announcements at the end of the show for both acts which is always exciting.

Make sure to get your tickets for Brownbear at St Luke's on 6/6/26 where the band will play both albums in full. Tickets on sale as of Wednesday 11th February at 10am
