Today Clayton is joined by Brother Shep. Sadiki "Brother Shep" Olugbala (aka Shepard P. McDaniel) is a Bronx native who began his life long work as a community activist in the early 70s as a member of the original Black Panther party in New York. Today, Brother Shep serves as both Director for the Universal Zulu Nation Department of Community Affairs Worldwide and as Program & Operations Director for the Safiya Bukhari-Albert Nuh Washington Foundation, which supports the families, medical needs, community projects, and legal campaigns of U.S. government held political prisoners and political exiles.
