Clayton is joined by Soraya Larson, general manager of Ludlow House. While the presence of the Ludlow House in the LES is representative of the comprehensive gentrification of the neighborhood over the past 25+ years -- a gentrification effort that Clayton has been patently outspoken against -- Clayton and Soraya engage in a discussion on the role of Ludlow House in the neighborhood now that it's there. Larson seems committed to ensuring that the Ludlow House can be used as a space that benefits the expression of artists already located in the neighborhood prior to the club's arrival.
