Clayton is joined by Trigger Smith, owner of Lower East Side landmark club/bar, Continental. The venue, which recently closed on December 31st, had been open on 3rd Ave. & St. Mark’s Place since 1991. In the past decade or so, Continental operated as more of a dive bar -- famously displaying a sign which read "5 Shots of anything for $10 ALL DAY/ALL NIGHT(yes, we're serious)" -- however, from it's inception, Continental was a punk rock venue that regularly hosted legendary musicians including Iggy Pop, The Ramones, Patti Smith, Guns N’ Roses and The Wallflowers. Trigger shares memories of the venue's most iconic nights, his path to founding Continental, & his life on the Lower East Side.
