The Cleansing of the Temple | Straight Talk From Jesus Pt. 3 | A2CN Sundays
This week we heard a message on Mark 11 and the story of Jesus cleansing the temple. Normally we think of Jesus as being very calm, however in this scene we see a very different picture of Jesus. Here we see Jesus expressing anger rooted in his love for the temple. While the temple was supposed to be set apart, it had become influenced by the marketplace values of the world. Through Jesus’ response we see that sometimes it’s necessary to overturn things in order to embrace God’s vision for our lives.
