The elite convinces the masses that their interests are the same. Often use religion and national pride to convince the poor to sacrifice others and themselves. 

Fraudsters hijack Christianity to cover their corrupt deeds that is opposite of Christian deeds. If it is not a righteous cause do not participate.

Proverbs 31:8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
