Premiering  August 2021 on the podcast The Cliff's Edge     "The Date is Incorrect." 

It's just a story. A fictional story about a man who stands accused of mass murder and is about to face a trial and possible execution.  What is the motive the accused provided the court? That it is Facebook messages that won't be sent until another 65 years from now. Addressed to his personal Facebook account dated over thirty days ago which is the sender's past! He is not motivated to act until through the messages he learns a horrible event will occur. He learns that China will invade then occupy North America. In addition, they invade with assistance from a yet unelected American president. Our suspect believes the messages come from Individuals who live under this future Chinese occupation. He is convinced they have asked for his help,  so he took actions he believed prevented this future from happening. It will be the court Psychiatrist that decides if our suspect is competent to face trial and possible execution. Or determines that our suspect doesn't fully understand the gravity of his actions, or the pain it has caused so many. Does he understand the total nonsense and lack of evidence he has provided his defence team and understands the charges and can follow the proceedings throughout a  trial?
