Theresa Merritt-Watson is a well known organizer, teacher, and volunteer in the Chapel Hill area of North Carolina.  She has organized college fair bus trips for prospective college students for many years and she has been very involved in her church and its outreach activities.  Theresa has written two books – Guide for Teenage Parents and Black Tech – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrowand she has led numerous seminars and tutorials for non-profit groups and charities. 

Additionally, Theresa has served as a Board Member for the Chapel Hill, NC Board of Adjustment, served as a Board Member for the Chapel Hill, NC Sustainability Task Force Committee, been a candidate for the Chapel Hill – Carrboro, NC City School Board, served a Board Member for the Carrboro, NC Planning Board, served as a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and served as a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity.

Theresa has six great adult children and is a native of North Carolina.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shaw University, a Master in Business Administration degree from the University of Arizona, a Master in Education degree from Temple University and is currently a doctoral student at Temple University.

Angelo Ellerbee is an institution.  The public relations maverick has worked with and guided the careers of icons and ingenues, legends and leading actors, and has built a legacy that continue to flourish decades after he began.  He began his stellar career working in the fashion industry--designing styling, and hosting shows as fundraisers to combat the global issue of HIV/AIDS.  Found himself in the world of publicity and artist relations, working with the late, great James Mtume, super producer and jazz impresario.

In 1985, Mr. Ellerbee founded Double XXposure Public Relations, working with artist and record labels to champion the careers of such luminaries as Frankie Beverly, Kool Bell, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack  and reggae giants like Shabba Ranks and Patra, while also shaping the careers of supermodels and burgeoning business titans and industry leaders.

In 2017, Demetria relocated from Virginia to Atlanta, eager for a promising job opportunity after years as a middle school teacher. There is a journey that we have all been on from the moment we a removed from the womb.  The journey is a continuance of the journey our ancestors were on.  Oftentimes, we are not sure why we are doing what, we are doing.  I belive we are completing the assignement that was given to those before us.  I was all up in my head in deep thought about this concept of purpose and reason, and then I attended a networking event/summit.  I was in the company of may journeymen and journeywomen.  It was simply amazing.  It woud not know be like me if I didn't find amazing people to showcase.  The first is Shekinah Joi Hudson, she is the founder of Love You, Bye ®️ a Chicago Based Yoga studio that is 420 Friendly, we will learn more on that.

Therefore, I cannot/will not wrap his whole life up in the day he died and not remember the 18yrs he lived.
