Infinity Ward tweeted that they have began to ban all racist content from Modern Warfare. The changes stem from the aftermath of the global outrage over the brutal killings of several African Americans by the hands of law enforcement over several decades. Earlier this week Infinity Ward pushed back the launch of Modern Warfare Season 4 to show respect to the many Call of Duty players who are involved in protest around the world. If you are reading this please know that the public unrest is not solely based on the murder of George Floyd, but Floyd dying by the hands of 4 police officers was the straw that broke the camels back.
