The Cleric enters the Great Chamber and is introduced to the Guardian. Meanwhile, Anda Sofadee hears of the Praetor's arrest and takes control of the Covenant Army, with the intention of rescuing the Praetor and killing the Cleric. The Humans continue to fight into the caves, and sneak into the Codex through the ventilation shaft discovered by the Foreman.
