In The Color Purple, we explore a Black Girl named Celie as she fights against what is forced on her. Being a woman is hard, being a black woman is harder. But this book shows how there’s always hope, no matter how broken or hurt you are. All revenue and donations from ANY of the Daily Short Story episodes in July will go to a BLM organization.
