Introducing Shahzia Noorally "Proud introvert, learning nerd, mildly obsessed with my rescue dog, Ollie I'm on a personal mission to change the HR industry, challenging the norm around how talent strategies should be executed in organizations and what drives me is the opportunity to explore and implement solutions that put humanity back into the candidate and team member experience. I literally have the best job in the world leading the "talent system" (including the recruitment function) at ATB Financial in Calgary, Alberta and own the strategy for talent attraction, assessment, acquisition and internal mobility for ATB. I'm a proud introvert (love being an example of how we can challenge what's expected of us quiet folk), personal branding nerd and I really believe in the power of social media to elevate both conversations and results for people and businesses. I'm a published writer, speaker, and blogger and hold both a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge as well as a Masters of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. When I'm not working, you can find me building my side hustle, the Colour Gap (@thecolourgap), a podcast that explores the unique and often uncomfortable truths of being a woman of colour in business, and I'm either exploring dog parks with my dog, Ollie, eating my way through my city or traveling and eating my way through other cities.
