Episode Description
Welcome to Day 3 of Come to Me: A 7-Day Invitation to Sabbath Rest.
Over the past two days, we’ve named our weariness and begun releasing misconceptions about rest. Today, we step into one of the hardest parts of Sabbath for many of us: stopping.
For most of us, the struggle with Sabbath isn’t about time—it’s about trust. We keep going, even when God invites us to pause, because we fear things will fall apart, we’ll fall behind, or no one else will step in. But God calls us to a different way—a way of surrender, trusting Him to provide when we step back.
In this episode, we explore the tension between control and surrender, learn from the Israelites’ experience with Sabbath, and practice one small step of trusting stop.
