Joined us as we learn from Jocelyn M. Kirkland, an author, master educator, and licensed cosmetologist. "It wasn’t until I was a grown, married, sexually active woman that the silence surrounding conversations about sex really stood out to me. I had no shame talking about any and every other topic...but with sex seemed to “play” by a different set of subconscious rules and I didn’t necessarily know why. I had questions...I wanted to talk, but who could I talk to and what would that yield? I decided to write a book to facilitate conversations about sex. It's called, Complexities of Ecstasy, and the pre-order is set to launch in March."

ABOUT JOCELYN M. KIRKLAND
Jocelyn M. Kirkland is an author, master educator, and licensed cosmetologist with a passion for helping people to look, feel, and live their best lives. She obtained both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Master of Arts degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State University. Jocelyn believes that access to information is a key element to pursuing advancement and growth, and she’s made it her personal mission to illuminate as much as she can within her life’s journey. She is a Christian and is highly sought out in both spiritual and secular circles for practical guidance on relationships, marriage, family, and community building. She takes great pride in her contagious energy and ability to “keep it real”. Currently residing in New York City, Mrs. Kirkland is a middle school teacher and co-founder of a passion project, "Virtual Kickbacks", with her husband - actor, Jonathan Kirkland. The couple has two daughters.
