When a sinner turns to Jesus to be saved, he or she has answered a calling. That first call to salvation leads to numerous other callings in that person’s life. Yes, the Christian journey is one of being led by the Good Shepherd as He takes us to the places and events that He has planned for us. In the end, He brings us fully and finally home to Himself in a place of beauty, perfection and glory.
