When the church was birthed on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, they had no strategy or technique for changing the world. They just wanted to worship Jesus—together. They prayed. They sang. They rejoiced. They grew. They ate. All together. They had a shared devotion, a shared life, and a shared mission. And revival broke out. That’s not a formula for revival (God laughs at our formulas). But it is a beautiful life. It is a powerful life. It is a connected life.
