Last week we looked at the reality that as believers we have a an adversary, an enemy called the Devil, or Satan, who wants nothing more than to distract, disrupt, and ultimately destroy your relationship with God. However, even though we are engaged in a spiritual battle, as believers we know how the story ends. We know that on the cross Jesus conquered sin, death, and the grave, and that He is soon coming back to put down the final hammer on the devil — a powerful truth that should impact our lives every day.
