When we read of the battles and conquests by the Israelites in the Old Testament, we may forget that Christians in the New Testament faced battles and we continue to face them today. While we may not fight the same type of battles the Israelites faced, we do fight our own presonal battles on a daily basis and need to remember we don't need to fight them alone.
