Many of the opposers of the Gnostic teachings like to throw hate at the early Gnostics for their lifestyles. They accused them of being sexual addicts that only cared for orgies and other "lower level pleasures."

Not unlike today however when the opposition wants to slander their opponents, many of the same tactics are employed.

Today, we dig in Carpocrates and his wife Alexandra - who they were, what they taught, and stood for in the Gnostic tradition.
