Chuck Pierce is a seasoned prophetic voice in America. Yet, few people know of his conflicted childhood. In his own words he says that "though all my family knew God, a division of darkness came into my own family". Chuck's mother and grandmother were both strong believers and very prophetic.

The family became prosperous and successful. Then somehow darkness came into Chucks father as they prospered. As a result, Chuck's father died at a young age. This left Chuck as a  young 16 year-old  forced to run the massive family business of large tracks of lands and cattle. Within a few years Chuck wanted out and tried to bolt from the heavy responsibility.
