Church is not the core of Christianity.  Jesus and His teachings, and the New Testament teaching is the core of our faith.

Church is important but being in touch with Jesus on an intimate level.  We go to church to receive of Him for growth and to develop relationships and strategies to reach our communities for Jesus. 

If we have not touched the heart of Jesus we have little to offer to the lost.
