Melissa is a Corporate Architect who breastfed her first son for 10 months. Melissa had to start traveling when her son was 3 months old, and she talks about taking a girl’s trip before returning to work to test out the pumping and traveling under a less stressful environment. I loved this advice and that Melissa shared that pumping and dumping was her preferred option.

She also talks about how this second time around is a bit different as her second son was born during Covid and the times of “work from home”.

Since design is in her DNA, I also asked her about some of her favorite products and tips to keep us looking fresh and fashionable.

Pump:

In our interview we discovered that Melissa’s pump, the Spectra 1, was rechargeable while mine, the Spectra 2, needed a battery pack to be able to do that. (I learned something new too)
