In this week’s teaching, we look at Acts 6–8 and explored the real cost of following Jesus. The early believers faced persecution, imprisonment, and even death, like Stephen in Acts 7. They understood something many of us forget: following Jesus isn’t about us—it comes at a price.

We talk about how faith isn’t just adding a new habit or small tweak to life. It often requires sacrifice—giving up comfort, relationships, or even our plans—because the Kingdom is worth it. Like the early church, we’re called to count the cost and decide: What are we truly willing to give up for Jesus?
